Magnitude Interpolation Tips:

Look at the plate designated JD +300 (=JD 2449300). How would you estimate the magnitude of the variable star, since it doesn't exactly match any of the comparison stars in the plate? To obtain the magnitude of the variable star, you must estimate fractional differences between stars which are close in magnitude (just a bit fainter and just a bit brighter).
