There are three science instruments under study for Lynx (formerly X-Ray Surveyor). These are a High-Definition X-ray imager, an X-ray microcalorimeter, and an X-ray grating spectrometer. Three study subgroups are forming to investigate this science instrument complement in order to produce a compelling and executable Lynx mission concept.
